We recently performed in a charity competition put on by South Stage Cellars in Jacksonville, OR. Voting was $5 per vote and you could vote as many times as you wanted. Between all the groups that performed A LOT of money was spent and all of that money went to Life Art which gives local teens a creative outlet for expression and an alternative to gangs, substance abuse, depression and even suicide. We made it to the finals and were out-voted but we made a lot of new friends and connections so overall it was a great night for us and especially for Life Art!
In other news….
The CDs arrived yesterday and we are getting our shirts and hats made today. All will be available at our CD release party, April.11, 7pm-9:30pm, at The Imperial Event Center in Medford, OR!! If you cannot make it to the party and still want a CD then you can easily pick it up at one of the many shows we play or get it on iTunes, Amazon, or CD Baby at a future date. Until then, catch us at The Point Pub and Grill in Central Point, OR on 4/4 9pm, or at the beautiful Belle Fiore Winery in Ashland, OR on April.10 from 6pm-8pm.
